Spend time in nature

Spending time in nature has been shown to improve memory, lower stress hormones and reduce feelings of anxiety. Getting outside, then, no matter where you’re headed, is the ideal way to de-stress and relax.

Do something creative

Creativity – even if you’re not terribly creative by nature – puts our minds into a ’flow state’, where we detach from stimulus around us to fall into optimal concentration. It’s why creativity is so good for mindfulness.
